MULTI ENGINE INSTRUMENT RATING

ME / IR qualification adds new skills to the existing pilot’s license. It allows to operate the aircraft according to IFR-Instrument Flight Rules. IR / ME enhances pilot flying skills and takes non-technical skills as a commander to a higher level. It is especially necessary if you are thinking about working as a professional in the airlines.

DURATION

The approximate duration of the course is up to week, depending on weather condition and student’s personal schedule. Multi Engine Instrument Rating will be done on Piper Seneca II or III and FNPT II. The course consists of 05:00 hrs. – 3 hrs. ground time in FNPT II and 2 hrs. flying on Piper Seneca II or III.

 

 

Entry requirements

Applicants for a Multi Engine Engine Instrument Rating shall hold:

  • at least PPL (A) with completed 70 hrs. as PIC or CPL (A) (link) in the appropriate aircraft category;
  • the privilege to fly at night in accordance with FCL.810;
  • an ATPL certificate issued by Approved Training Organization;
  • English Language Proficiency in accordance with FCL.055;
  • 1 st or 2 nd Medical certificate in accordance with PART-MED

 

 

Course includes

  • aircraft manual;
  • uniformly;
  • charts and additional aviator`s equipment.
