COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENSE (CPL)

If you want to become a commercial pilot, you are on the right path to go about it.

Commercial pilot license is an important pilot license and have plenty of privileges:

attaining a level of flight proficiency which will keep you safe;
enables the pilot to be paid for the service;
act as a PIC in commercial flight, perform aerial work in single and multi-engine airplanes and fly as co-pilot in transport airplanes.

DURATION

The approximate duration of the course is 4-5 weeks, depending on weather condition and student’s personal schedule. CPL (A) training consists of two main phases – VISUAL FLIGHT TRAINING 15:00 hrs. and INSTRUMENT FLIGHT TRAINING 10:00 hrs. If the applicant holds a valid Instrument Rating (IR), it will be fully credited towards the dual instrument instruction time. CPL (A) training can be done on: Cessna 172 M / N / RG or Piper Warrior / Arrow III & IV.

5 hours shall be carried out in an airplane certificated for the carriage of at least 4 persons with a variable pitch propeller and retractable landing gear. ATO AVIO OTRYAD VARNA has 3 single engine complex aircraft (Cessna 172 RG and Piper Arrow II / III) suitable for that specified training.

Entry requirements

The applicant of the CPL (A) must have

at least 18 years of age;
hold valid PPL (A) or LAPL (A);
ATPL or CPL Theory certificate issued by Approved Training Organization;
1st Medical Certificate in accordance with PART-MED;
English Language Proficiency in accordance with FCL.055.
